Went to a place in Fort Collins, Colorado that makes robotic arms.  Loaded a bunch of parts that are part of a robotic arm that works on those huge blades from the wind turbines.  You know, the ones that are popping up all over as a form of "green" energy.  This thing is used in the manufacturing process of the blades.  When they put the 2 half's of the blades together this robot runs along the blade and trims off the excess fiberglass then sands it smooth.  By hand it takes 6 people 6 hours to do that.  This machine does it all in 2 hours.  I was one of 3 other trucks today picking up parts to this machine.  There are 3 more scheduled Monday.  All of us are going to a place in Grand Forks, North Dakota where the blades are manufactured.  It took all day to load my trailer so I didn't get very far.  I stopped for the night in Burns, Wyoming.

Delivered my lumber load this afternoon in Broomfield, Colorado.  I was a day ahead of schedule.  Tomorrow I pick up a load in Fort Collins, Colorado going to Grand Forks, North Dakota.

Yesterday drove through a snow thunderstorm. No accumulation from that.  But last night had a light dusting of snow.  How about that??!!??

This morning I loaded up with my load of lumber and headed off toward Broomfield, Colorado.  Drove down another really great road.  255 miles from Lewiston, ID down to Boise, ID on US-95.  Lots of steep up and down and curves.  Drove for a long way in a canyon that followed the Salmon River.  It twisted and turned all over the place.  Took a few photos.  Hope you like them.

Stopped for the night in Ogden, Utah.  598 miles today.  Not bad considering I got loaded and tarped this morning.

Drove down to Lewiston, ID on US-195. Beautiful 2 lane road.
Miles and miles of georgous rolling hills of farm land.

Still sitting in Spokane, Washington at the Petro.  Loads are scarce and don't pay very well up here.  Mostly lumber, and lumber never pays very well.  The weather has been perfect.  Cold at night and in the 70s and not humid during the day.  That's supposed to change tomorrow.  Rain and colder temps on the way.

I brought a load of steel wire coils (7 coils) totalling about 44,000 pounds from Sanderson, FL to Spokane Valley, WA.  Delivered it this morning.  Now sitting at the Petro truck stop waiting on another load.

My New BLOG.

I thought I'd start one of these things so that you all can see what I'm doing & where I'm going.  Might be easier than sending e-mails all the time.  Let me know if you like it.
