Got on the road real early.  Was great!  Missed all the traffic in all the big cities going up to Maine. Stopped in New Hampshire to get fuel.  The price of fuel up here is ridiculous!!!

Delivered the rings this morning in Winslow, Maine then drove over to a small truck stop in Fairfield, Maine for the rest of the weekend.

Got on the road early this morning.  Its cold up here!  A lot different than the upper 90s in south Texas.  In eastern Pennsylvania, south of Scranton, they apparently had an ice storm last night.  The roads were clear and dry but there was still ice on the trees.  Very pretty with the sun glistening off it.  Here are a few photos of it. You can see the birch trees all bent over from the weight of the ice.

Once I got past Scranton it was all snow, about 2 or 3 inches.  The roads were still clear and dry.  Stopped for the night at the TA truck stop in Maybrook, New York.

Another uneventful day on the road.  Stopped in Gadsden, Alabama and had 2 more tires put on.  Only have 4 more to go.  At about $1100 for two tires, I have to replace them s-l-o-w-l-y. Had a little rain in the upper part of Tennessee / lower Virginia.  Stopped for the night at the Petro in Glade Spring, Virginia.

Left San Antonio this morning and had a very relaxing and uneventful day on the road.  Hit Houston right at rush hour and had some bumper to bumper traffic there.  Here are the photos of my load that I tried to upload last night.

Went back to get unloaded - again!  Was there half an hour before they opened.  They would not unload me until the Mexican truck got there so they could load it straight from my truck to the Mexican truck.  I guess it was WAY too difficult for those idiots to just unload my stuff and put it on the ground until the Mexican truck got there.  Oh nooooo, we can't do that.  So I sat there until 1pm local time until the other truck got there.  YES I did bill them for sitting there for 24+ hours!  When they finally finished I drove up to Laredo.  Fortunately my next load had to go on a 53 foot trailer (and there are not that many of those around) so my load was still waiting for me there.  Pulled into a real shit hole of a place.  There was junk piled up everywhere - and this place was not a junk yard!  They loaded the stuff on my trailer and off I went.  15 steel rings going all the way up to Winslow, Maine.

Tried to upload pictures tonight but after a half hour trying, and it rejecting them, I give up.  I'll try again tomorrow.

Stopped at Thermo King this morning and had my APU charging system checked.  Then went to deliver in McAllen.  When I got there they said that the people that are unloading me are off today because it is a Mexican holiday.  They can not unload me until tomorrow.  GREAT!!  So I went back to the truck stop. Will try it again tomorrow.
