This morning I decided to go to St. Simons Island, Georgia, and see how the progress of removing the Golden Ray was going. For those unfamiliar with the Golden Ray, it is a cargo ship that fell over in 2019 in the River heading to the Port of Brunswick, Georgia. They are cutting it up and hauling it off in pieces. Last week it had caught fire while they were cutting it up. The fire is out now but they are still pumping a lot of water into the hulk.
