I left at midnight PST and drove the rest of the way to Tukwila, Washington.  Went over Snoqualmie Pass along the way.  No problems at all.  I love driving at night!!  Was parked and back in bed by 5 AM PDT.  Time for a nap, then good ol' SEC football.

 Last night I left at about 9 PM MDT.  Another uneventful night on the road.  Finished off the day with a sunrise, but slightly foggy trip over Cabbage Hill (AKA Emigrant Hill) / Deadman's Pass.  Click on the link for more information.  Stopped at a truck stop in Pendleton, Oregon.  612 miles today.

 I left last night at 9 PM CDT.  Another uneventful night on the road.  Just the way I like it.  Drove 671 miles to the TA truck stop in Fort Bridger, Wyoming.

 I left at 10 PM CDT last night.  Had a very nice, uneventful night on the road.  Drove 562 miles to the TA truck stop in Oakley, Kansas.

 I left at 11 PM CDT and drove to North Little Rock, Arkansas.  When they opened, I loaded two forks that attach to a wheel loader.  They are going to Tukwila, Washington.  That is right next to SeaTac International Airport.

I left there and drove to the Love's truck stop in Clarksville, Arkansas.  505 miles today.

 Delivered the wheel loader this morning.  Couldn't go anywhere because the Government says that I need a day off.  So I went to the Love's truck stop a few miles away to sit.

 I left at 11 PM CDT.  Drove all night to Chico, Texas.  Will deliver here in the morning. 426 miles today.

I left at about 1 AM EDT.  Very uneventful night/day on the road.  Drove 656 miles to the TA truck stop in Tallulah, Louisiana.  Now settling in for an afternoon of SEC football!!!!

 I drove over to Clayton, North Carolina, this morning to deliver.  The machine wouldn't start again.  The battery was stone-cold dead.  Once again, they had to call someone to come jump-start it.  Once all that was done and the machine was off the trailer, I headed for my next load that was in Newberry, South Carolina.  In Lumberton, North Carolina, some genius thought it would be a good idea to do construction and have only one lane open on I-95 southbound on a Friday during the daytime.  Of course, traffic was backed up for miles.  Finally made it to Newberry and loaded a Komatsu 320-8 Wheel Loader that is going over to Chico, Texas.

I left there and went to the Love's truck stop that was a few blocks away for a much-needed shower, food, and sleep.  Good night.

 I left Scranton at 2:30 AM EDT.  Drove to the Port of Baltimore, and when they opened, I loaded a Caterpillar 314 Wheel Loader that is going to Clayton, North Carolina. Unfortunately, it had to be jump-started because the battery was dead.  Had to wait about an hour for them to get there to do it.

I left there and headed south.  Lots of bumper-to-bumper and slow-n'-go traffic south of Washington, D.C.  Drove to the Petro truck stop in Kenly, North Carolina, for the night.  521 miles today.

 I left Ashland, Virginia, at 1 AM EDT this morning.  Drove straight up to North Syracuse, New York.  Saw a great shooting star over Washington, D.C., as I was driving through.  Saw another one over Scranton, PA, but it wasn't as good.  Delivered the wheel loader.  My next load is back at the Port in Baltimore.  I started off in that direction.  Stopped for the night at the Petro truck stop in Scranton, PA, with less than 30 minutes left on my clock for today.  649 miles today.

 I left Baltimore at about 3 AM and drove down to Clayton, North Carolina. Once again, the battery was dead, and it needed a jump-start to get it off my trailer.  After that saga was over, I reloaded with a Caterpillar 930 Wheel Loader and Bucket that is going up to North Syracuse, New York.

I left there and drove to the TA truck stop in Ashland, Virginia, for my 10 hours.

 This morning, my truck went into the shop for routine oil change maintenance.  When they finished, I went to the Port of Baltimore in Maryland.  Loaded a Caterpillar 914 Wheel Loader after getting a jump start.  The battery was totally dead!!  It was going to Clayton, North Carolina.

I left there and drove to the TA truck stop in Baltimore, MD, for the night.

 BOY, was I wrong!!!!!

Last night (still Saturday), when my 10 hours were up, I left.  That was about 7 PM EDT.  Drove to the "home office" in Carlisle, Pennsylvania.  Stopped and got the truck washed along the way.  When I got there, I unloaded the truck off my trailer, then settled in for the rest of the weekend.  Was all done before midnight.

 I left Jacksonville last night at 8:30 PM EDT.  Drove all night.  Rain started in mid-North Carolina.  Continued to Ashland, Virginia, where I stopped for my 10 hours.  612 miles today.

Time for some SEC football!!!  Unfortunately, the Gators are going to get obliterated today.  They are playing the number seven-ranked Texas in Texas!  It is going to be very ugly!!

 When I left this morning, the trailer had an air leak, a big one.  The truck's air compressor was able to maintain good air pressure, so I drove to the TA truck stop in Robertsdale, Alabama, to get it fixed.  The leveling valve was bad, and they replaced it.  Then I continued on to the Port in Mobile, Alabama.  Dropped the trailer there for the other driver.  Then I drove, bobtail, back to Jacksonville, Florida.  550 miles today. I'm tired!!

 There was a flatbed trailer here in the Jacksonville yard that needed to go to Mobile, Alabama, for a load.  Another driver was on his way, but the load had to be loaded before he could get to Jacksonville and then drive to Mobile.  So I took the trailer over to Mobile, and he drove straight to Mobile so he could load in time.  I left with the trailer and drove to the Pilot truck stop in DeFuniak Springs, Florida, for the night.  I'll drop off the trailer at the Port of Mobile in the morning and then bobtail back to Jacksonville.

 Watched the SpaceX Falcon 9 launch visible this morning from the Daily terminal in Jacksonville, Florida.  Could see it beautifully.  As usual, the photos don't do it justice.

If you look closely, you can see the boosters that separated from the rocket.  One of them is the little white dot just to the right of the jellyfish cloud.  The other is below it, but much more difficult to see.
