Was at the unloading location at 7 am, as requested.  Unfortunately the crane didn't get there until 10:30.  Then backed into the unloading area and waited for the crane to get set up.  That takes a while!

Then it was finally my turn.

After that was off I went over to Clayton, NC and loaded a Caterpillar 930K wheel loader that is going to Prairieville, LA.

Left there and drove to the Petro truck stop in Florence, SC for the night.

Got started a half hour after sunrise this morning.  Very nice, uneventful day on the road.   Drove up to a small truck stop in Greenville, NC.  Deliver in the morning a few miles from here.

Drove to Thomasville, GA this morning to load.  They weren't ready.  At 11:30 they finally were ready to load.  Loaded a boiler that is going to Greenville, NC.

Didn't get very far today.  Stopped for the night at a truck stop in Waycross, GA.

My truck is all fixed now and I'm back on the road after a few great days off.  Drove a short hop over to the TA truck stop in Lake Park, Georgia.  I load tomorrow morning in Thomasville, GA.

I left Jacksonville at 1:30 this morning and drove down to West Palm Beach and delivered the skid steer.  Turned right around and drove back to the Daily yard in Jacksonville.  Will be here for the rest of the week.  Going to have some work done on the truck and trailer.  Ordered the parts yesterday.  They will be in tomorrow. Just parts $750.  And I got a deal on them, normally over $900.

Had to wait for paperwork so I could deliver this morning.  It finally arrived and I went to deliver.  Found out after I got there that it was the wrong paperwork.  So I waited some more.  When it got there I was able to unload.  After unloading I had a bunch of trailer problems getting hooked back up.  That took another hour and a half.  Still had to wait for someone to show up and sign off on the paperwork.  Of course, they were all at lunch.  Had to wait some more.  A little while after they were supposed to be back from lunch someone showed up and signed off on the paperwork.  Left there and drove straight to the Daily yard in Jacksonville for the night.  Total waste of a day!!

Easy day today.  Drove to the Love's truck stop in Brunswick, GA.  Got the truck washed when I got here.  Now I'll relax with a weekend full of football!!!

This morning delivered the building.  Then went down to Sanford, North Carolina and loaded two Caterpillar skid steers.  One is going to the port in Brunswick, GA and the other is going to West Palm Beach, FL.

Was in heavy traffic all day!!  Very tiring.  Passed another Google Street View car today.

Stopped for the night at the Petro in Florence, SC.  This is high on the "Most Favored" places to stop.  Had another great steak for dinner.

Left Niota, Tennessee just before sunrise this morning.  Good day on the road.  Nothing exciting. Pushed it hard and made it to where I deliver in the morning in Frederick, Maryland.  Parked out front for the night.

Left at sunrise this morning.  Stayed ahead of the rain all day again.  That slow moving front is right behind me.  Overcast all day, but no rain.  Stopped for the night at the Wilco truck stop in Niota, Tennessee.  That's where the rain finally caught up with me.

Since my loading appointment wasn't until 1 pm I had a little time to kill.  Went to the shop and had my truck chassis greased.  After that was done I went over to load.  I was real early.  The Navy AWACS airplanes were doing touch-and-go's at the base close by.  They were going right over my head as they came around.  Very cool!!

Finally loaded another communications building that is going to Frederick, MD.

Left there but didn't get very far before I ran out of daylight.  Passed what was left of a semi truck roll over crash.

Stopped for the night at the TA truck stop in Tallulah, LA.

This morning had my generator serviced at Cummins in Houston.  After that was done I went back to the Daily yard and got my trailer.  My next load is tomorrow afternoon up in Bossier City, LA.  Can you guess what I'm loading??   I'll bet you can!  The video below is a time lapse of the trip up US-59, US-79, I-20 and into the Petro truck stop in Shreveport, LA where I'll spend the night.

This morning I went over to Shipley and bought a box of do-nuts.  They were warn and delicious!!!!

Left at sunrise this morning and drove straight to Humble, TX and delivered the dump truck.  

Last night my generator was giving me signs that I was WAY overdue for service.  After I delivered, I went over to Cummins and bought a fuel filter and scheduled an appointment for Monday morning to have it serviced.  Then I went to the Houston Daily yard and dropped off my trailer.  After that I went to the TA in Baytown, TX for the weekend.  There I changed the fuel filter on the generator.  Of course, I made a mess!!  But at least I did it.

Left Jacksonville at sunrise this morning. Very nice day on the road until Baton Rouge, LA.  Got there at rush hour.  Here is a video of an almost crash that happened right in front of me on I-10 in Baton Rouge. The traffic was backed up from the exit ramp out on I-10.  The idiots that try to go to the front and cut in then block the travel lanes on I-10 causing more problems as you will see in the video.

Stopped for the night at a truck stop west of Baton Rouge in Port Allen, LA.

Went the rest of the way in to North Charleston, SC and delivered the building.

Then drove over to the other side of North Charleston and loaded a Terex T300 dump truck that is going to Humble, Texas.

 Left there and drove home for the night.
