 I left at 1 AM EDT this morning and drove the rest of the way to Birmingham, Alabama, and delivered the wheel loader.  My next load is tomorrow morning in Brunswick, Georgia.  I started off that way, but ran out of hours.  Stopped at a small truck stop in Pulaski, Georgia, for the night.  667 miles today.

 This morning I went to Volvo in Shippensburg, PA, and loaded a Volvo L110H Wheel Loader that is going to Birmingham, Alabama.

Left there in pretty good time and drove to the TA truck stop in Greeneville, Tennessee for my 10 hours. 461 miles today.

 This evening was the  Daily Express annual Safety Banquet.  I didn't think it was as good as in years past, but it was still good.  Also seemed that the attendance was a bit lower than in years past.  The food was good.

The door prizes were definitely not as good.  I was the second to last one called, so by that time, there was nothing worth a flip left.  I got a tape measure.

I was very surprised that I was one of only two people this year inducted into the Daily Express Million Mile Club.  They gave me a nice watch.

 When my 10 hours were up, I left.  That was at about midnight 30.  Drove up to Washington, New York and delivered the wheel loader. From there I drove to the "home office" in Carlisle, Pennsylvania for the weekend. Got there with only 16 minutes left on my drive time clock.  646 miles today.  Daily is having their annual banquet Saturday night so I'll be going to that.  The food is pretty good, and they have great door prizes. They also get us a hotel room for the night.

 I left at sunrise this morning and drove the rest of the way to Washington, North Carolina.  Delivered the dump truck.  My next load was at Clayton, NC.  I drove over there and loaded a Caterpillar 930 Wheel Loader that is going to Bloomingburg, New York.

I left there and drove to the TA truck stop in Ashland, Virginia.  I'm very tired and my back really hurts tonight.  Hard to get in the truck.  Going to sleep so it will feel better when I wake up.  Good night.

 This morning I drove up to Brunswick, Georgia.  Sat for an hour in bumper-to-bumper traffic that was caused by a wreck.  Didn't start to rain hard until I went to get out of the truck.  I got soaked!!  Loaded a Caterpillar 725 Articulating Dump Truck that is going to Washington, North Carolina.

Left there and drove to the Petro truck stop in Kenly, NC for the night. 449 miles today.

 I left this morning and drove the rest of the way to Hazlehurst, Georgia and delivered the wheel loader.  From there I drove to the Daily yard in Jacksonville, FL for the weekend.

 I left at sunrise this morning.  Did good this morning until just before Monroe, Louisiana.  That's when traffic came to a standstill. Sat there for almost two hours while they pulled this out.

 My long holiday weekend is over and it is back to "the grind".  I went back and got my trailer and delivered the excavator when they opened.  From there, I drove over to Odessa, Texas for my next load.  That was 5 hours away.  When I got there, I loaded a Caterpillar IT62H Wheel Loader that is going to auction in Hazlehurst, Georgia.  

You can see why it is going to auction.  I left there but didn't go very far.. Stopped for the night at the TA truck stop in Big Springs, Texas.

 This morning I drove the rest of the way to Cleburne, Texas, and dropped my trailer where I'm delivering Tuesday morning.  Daily paid for a hotel room until Tuesday so at 3 PM CDT I went to it and checked in.  I got a suite!  I settled in for the weekend.

 This morning, I drove to Brunswick, Georgia to load.  Had to wait an hour and a half for them to fix a very small paint chip on the machine I was getting.  Finally loaded a Caterpillar 315 Excavator that is going to Cleburne, Texas.

Left there and drove to the TA truck stop in Marianna, Florida for my 10 hours.

 I left at 2 AM EDT and drove the rest of the way to West Palm Beach. Had no issues with traffic.  Delivered the wheel loader.  My next load is tomorrow morning in Brunswick, Georgia.  I drove to the Daily yard in Jacksonville for the night.

 Yesterday, while driving through parts of Kentucky, I passed through areas where one of the tornadoes crossed over I-24. Quite a mess!!!

This morning I left at about 2 AM CDT.  Had no traffic problems in Nashville or Chattanooga.  But Atlanta was a different story!!  The bumper-to-bumper and slow-n'-go traffic started about 15 miles north of Atlanta and stayed that way all the way to Atlanta.  Took a while to get through all that. Continued on to the TA truck stop in Lake City, Florida for my 10 hours.  653 miles today.

 At about 2 AM CDT, I left and drove to the world-famous Iowa 80 truck stop in Walcott, Iowa.  Got the truck washed then settled in for the rest of the weekend.

 I left at about 5 AM CDT and drove to Elgin, Illinois, and delivered another box. I left there and drove up to Minneapolis (Bloomington, actually), Minnesota, and delivered the last box. My next load is in Davenport, Iowa, on Monday morning. I started off that way. I stopped for the night at the TA truck stop in Albert Lea, Minnesota.  The truck was due for an oil change, so I got that done when I got there.  549 miles today.

 At about 2 AM EDT, I left this morning.  Started off the morning with a bright rainbow.  

Drove all the way to Grand Rapids, Michigan, and dropped off one of the boxes.  I started toward Elgin, Illinois, where my next stop is.  Had to stop at the Petro truck stop in Gary, Indiana, because I ran out of hours.  679 miles today.  Only had 28 minutes left when I stopped.

 I left at sunrise this morning. There was a lot of heavy traffic all day!!! I drove the rest of the way to Warrenton, VA, and delivered the track loader. My next load was at the Port of Baltimore in Dundalk, Maryland. I drove over there. I hit Washington, DC, at rush hour and had a lot of bumper-to-bumper traffic along the way.  Finally made it to the Port.  Had to wait for their lunch hour to get over in order for them to load the three boxes I was getting.  One box is going to Grand Rapids, Michigan.  Another is going to Elgin, Illinois, and the last one is going to Minneapolis, Minnesota.

I left there and had a lot more very heavy traffic getting out of Baltimore all the way west to I-81.  I stopped for my 10 hours at the TA truck stop in Breezewood, Pennsylvania.

 I left a half hour after sunrise this morning and drove the two and a half hour drive to Hazleton, Georgia.  Delivered the dozer in the mud!!!  Got mud all over everything!!  After that, I drove to the Port in Brunswick, GA and loaded a Caterpillar 963 Track Loader that is going to Warrenton, Virginia.

I left there and drove down the street to the TA truck stop in Brunswick, GA, for the night.

 Had a rough night last night.  Was sick all night and got very little sleep.  I was a little later than I wanted to get loaded because of it.  As the day wore on, I felt a lot better.  I loaded a John Deere 750K Dozer that is going to Hazlehurst, Georgia.

I left there and headed east.  Heavy rain from the Texas/Louisiana state line all the way through Baton Rouge.  Lots of bumper-to-bumper, stop-'n-go traffic from west of Baton Rouge all the way through and almost to the I-12 split. Stopped for the night at the Petro truck stop in Hammond, Louisiana. Hope tonight is better than last night.

 I left at sunrise this morning.  Drove the rest of the way to Houston and delivered the wheel loader.  My next load is also in Houston.  I tried to get there before they closed, but traffic wouldn't let me.  I stopped for the night at a convenience store that had a couple of parking places.  I'll load in the morning a couple of miles from here.  491 miles today.

 At about 12:45 AM EDT, when my 10 hours were up, I left.  Had a pretty good night/day on the road.  Had to stop and take a nap 'cus I got sleepy.  A Couple of places with bumper-to-bumper traffic from a few crashes.  Stopped for the night after 613 miles at the Petro truck stop in North Little Rock, Arkansas.

 I left at sunrise this morning.  Had a few bumper-to-bumper areas from construction.  Drive nonstop 456 miles to the TA truck stop in Greenville, Tennessee.  I'll be here for my 10 hours.

 Friday evening, I got an email that said my truck was due for service and that it had to be done in Carlisle.  This morning I went to Shippensburg, PA and loaded a Volvo L120H Wheel Loader that is going to Houston, Texas.

Then I drove back to Carlisle to the Daily yard and had the service work done on my truck.  They finished it this afternoon.  I'll head for Houston in the morning.

 I left at sunrise this morning.  Today was mountain and bumper-to-bumper traffic day.  About 5 or 6 different areas of B2B traffic were caused by lane closures from construction.  Lots of ups and downs through the mountains of North Carolina, Virginia, and West Virginia.  Only 464 miles today.  Stopped for the night at the TA truck stop in Mineral Wells, West Virginia.

 Left at 6 AM EDT and drove the rest of the way to the Port in Brunswick, Georgia.  Unloaded the rim.  My next load was across the street.  Went over there and loaded a Caterpillar D6 Dozer that is going to Broadview Heights, Ohio.

I left there.  Heavy traffic on I-95 and I-26 today.  Had a trailer tire explode this afternoon.  

I limped to a very small Pilot truck stop in St. Matthews, South Carolina.  Had road service come out.

I stayed there for the night.

 I left at 1 AM EDT and drove down to Belle Glade, Florida.  When I tried to unload the first tractor, it ran out of fuel.  They had to put more fuel in it.  Then they unloaded both tractors.  After that was all done, I drove back to Jacksonville.  610 miles today.  I load tomorrow morning at the Port in Brunswick, Georgia.

 I left Carlisle at about 3:45 AM EDT and drove to the Port of Baltimore in Dundalk, Maryland. I got there before they opened, on purpose, to beat the rush hour traffic.  When they opened, I loaded two John Deere  6M 145 Tractors that are going to Belle Glade, Florida.

 Last night at 10 PM EDT, I left and drove to the "home office" in Carlisle, Pennsylvania. I have to have some repairs done to the trailer on Monday morning. After I woke up this morning, I did my errands: I went to Walmart, did two loads of laundry, defrosted my freezer, and cleaned the inside of my truck.  Now I can settle down for the rest of the weekend and relax.

 Left at 11:30 PM EDT and drove the rest of the way to Newport News, Virginia.  Got there a half hour before they opened.  When they opened, I delivered the wheel loader.  My trailer needed some repairs, so I started off for Carlisle, PA to get it fixed.  Stopped for my 10 hours at the TA truck stop in Ashland, VA.

 I left at about 11 PM CDT and drove up to Henderson, Colorado.  That is on the north side of Denver.  Got there when they opened.  It took a while to load because they had to take the bucket off the Liebherr  L546Z Wheel Loader. Once they did that it was loaded on my trailer.  It is going to Newport News, Virginia.

I left there and drove to the TA truck stop in Limon, Colorado for my 10 hours.  Saw lots of pronghorn elk along I-70. 520 miles today.

 This morning I delivered the wheel loader.  Then I went to Walmart and restocked.  After that got the truck washed.  Parked at the TA truck stop in Amarillo to finish my reset because I only had 46 minutes available today.   Got some good sleep this morning!!

 I left at midnight and drove the rest of the way to Amarillo, Texas.  516 miles.  Parked at the Caterpillar dealer, where I'm unloading Monday morning.  Then I went to sleep.

For dinner, I went to, where else?  The Big Texan!!

There were three guys taking the 72-ounce challenge when I got there.  None of them made it.  The guy with the full beard lasted the longest, but in the end, the steak won out!!

Then back to the Caterpillar dealer for the night with a full belly!!!
