When my reset was complete, I left. That was about 1:30 AM EST. Heavy misty rain to start. By the time I got to Atlanta, it had eased up. I arrived in Atlanta at rush hour. LOTS of heavy bumper-to-bumper traffic from north of Marietta all the way through Atlanta. Stopped for the rest of the day at a small truck stop in Metter, Georgia. My delivery appointment is for 10:30 tomorrow morning. 570 miles today.

I left at about 11:30 PM CST and drove the rest of the way to Laredo, TX. I got there around 6 AM. Found out that they don't accept deliveries until 9. While sitting there waiting, I took off most of my securement stuff. Two other trucks arrived and parked behind me. At 9:10, a guy came out and said that this stuff was too big for this location and directed me to another place about 20 minutes away. While I was putting on the securement stuff I had just removed, the other two trucks took off and went to the other site. When I got there, I was now last in line to get unloaded. I left there at about noon-30. Since I had no more hours left for today, I went to the TA truck stop just down the road. When I tried to get fuel, the buttons on the pump didn't work, so I'll get fuel somewhere else. I'm tired, aggravated, phone is off, good night.

I left at about 2 AM EST and drove the rest of the way down to South Bay, Florida. I arrived at 5:45 AM. They are making a 16-mile dam and reservoir there. The project is massively huge!!!! They were not ready for us when we arrived. They didn't have anything big enough to lift the counterweight. They tried with a Caterpillar 966 Wheel Loader that had fork attachment on it. When they lifted it, the counterweight didn't move, but the back wheels of the wheel loader came up off the ground. SO, I had to wait while they called something to come and lift it. At about noon, they finally lifted the counterweight off my trailer, and I left. Stopped for the night at the TA truck stop in Vero Beach, FL, because I was just about out of hours for today. Burned up too many sitting around waiting. I load tomorrow in Brunswick, Georgia.
