Left a half-hour before sunrise this morning. I got to Indiana about 15 minutes ahead of my escort car. Once he got there we left. It was mostly back roads today. Here is my permit route in the Chicagoland area.

The autumn foliage was really nice today. Stopped at a Mom & Pop truck stop in Mendon, Ohio for the night.
