I-80 east bound has been shut down all day. West bound is open. Some of the trucks in here left, but most are going east. We are packed in here like sardines!!! I am so glad I got here when I did. I have a real good parking spot.

Wyoming DOT posted an explanation and a couple photos on Facebook ...
Crews are working hard to clear large drifts of snow on Interstate 80 — these photos were taken on the eastbound lanes near Elk Mountain (mile marker 253). Forecasts show winds dying down around 5 p.m. and crews hope to have the Highway open as soon as it's safe.
So that about says it all. Might get moving tomorrow, BUT there is some weather headed this way. Who knows??? I could be here until Tuesday!!!! The saga continues...
